What is Hornstulls Marknad?

Hornstulls Marknad is a public market taking place on Hornstulls Strand every weekend since 2012. We envision the platform for the community — from a place for small and local businesses to convene and sell their products and services, to a space for community members and visitors to find a place of sun, good times, and culture! This year in 2024 at the market, we are focusing on bringing local quality vendors to Hornstulls Stranden, and convivial and cultural experience to the market.

Vendor Spots and Prices

A stall for one day at Hornstulls Marknad costs 600 SEK and includes a table (180x80cm) and a tent (2x2 meters). If you would like to be at the market more often, we have options for seasonal spots.

We also rent out clothing racks (60 SEK) and foldable chair (30 SEK). These are limited so we recommend reserving this at the same time you book your vendor spot. Book your spot at the market HERE

What can I sell?

Generally, all goes well to sell. We do, however, some exceptions:

You may not sell beverages, candy, ice cream, food, coffee, fruit or anything else that can be consumed on the spot. These categories are of course very nice in a market, but this requires a special permit from us. Please contact us to find out more at info@hornstullsmarknad.se

Sales of weapons, animals or anything that is illegal or offensive or inappropriate is not allowed. Hornstulls market should be a pleasant experience for both other exhibitors and visitors. Noisy demonstrations of products, loud music or other such activities that may be perceived as intrusive and annoying are not allowed. We are confident that our exhibitors are fantastic and have wonderful things to show off, but to be on the safe side, we reserve the right to close a stall if we believe that it breaches these rules.

Music! Art! Games!

With more than 5,000 visitors everyday at the market, Hornstulls Marknad is a bustling public space and meeting place in Stockholm. We are always looking to bring things to the market that bring smiles -- from music, games, and chalk

To bring more fun and flavor to the market, we want to invite all artists -- musicians, dancers, painters + more -- to use Hornstulls Marknad as a platform for their arts. We have an open-mic policy, so if you'd like to come play music, perform, or do some other type of arts to a wider audience, please fill out our Open Call form. While we have a small PA system that can be used for bigger performances we have many neighbors, it's good to keep a volume that doesn't disturb.
